RIKKE VITTRUP LANGTHJEM

The prime role of Rikke Vittrup Langthjem is to ensure the momentum and a steady growth of DWBD. Her core competencies are Leadership, Negotiation and Event Management.    

Adding value for its members is of essence, and Rikke strives to ensure that the association keeps evolving and moving with various industries and businesses.

Other than being Chairwoman, Rikke works as a Personal Assistant for the owner of a leading real estate company in Dubai (Edwards&Towers), where her responsibilities are Business development, implementation and office administration.

Rikke is married and has 3 children. For the past 16 years the family has lived in Greece, Spain and Dubai. Owing to her mindset to engage with people across countries and cultural background, Rikke has created a valuable network.

In her spare time, Rikke puts value in being with her family. She finds inspiration in reading books, and keeps herself updated on socio economical matters. Further, she makes sure to engage in different types of sports.

Mai Lund Svendsen holds a law degree and has previously worked in Denmark and Dubai as a lawyer. As a board member in Scandinavian Business Woman, Mai has the legal responsibility.

Mai has lived in Dubai for 5 years, is married to a Dane and became a mother in August 2018. Even though Mai is a new first time mother, she still hold on to her obligations as a board member.

Mai is a morning person meaning you will have a better chance to reach her before 8am than after 8pm.

Mai love to be active and managed to cross the finish line in Dubai Ironman 70.3 in 2017. For the time being Mai has all the best intention just to do a bit of exercise.

Mai is part of a start-up that will launch in 2019

PERNILLE ISAKSSON

Pernille Isaksson holds an HD in International Business & Marketing, and contributes with a long-term experience with Global Logistic – Most recently in Switzerland, where she as Global Logistic Manager took part in building a newly established company on the EMEA market.

Together with her husband and three boys, Pernille has just moved to Dubai. She has been an expat for the past 20 years in Italy, Ghana, Sweden and several times in Switzerland. For all this time she has worked within her field in a large number of constellations, but right now she is taking a break to settle with her family in Dubai.

The last 10 years in Lausanne has given Pernille plenty of time on the slopes and long walks on Lake Geneva. While Pernille is considering which sports to do now she does yoga and jogging every now and then.

Pernille hopes that with her professional background and experience with expat life, she can contribute positively to the daily work of SBWD.

Kirsten Bak Nielsen is an Industrial Designer and holds a Bachelor of Commerce within International Sales and Marketing as well. Because of her creative background and an interest in IT she uses her skills as a board member to design and navigate our homepage and newsletter.

You can meet her at the Royal Danish Consulate whereas she works as a Visa officer at the Consular Section. Kirsten has been living in Dubai together with her husband and two daughters since 2015 and when not working you can find her swimming in the pool.

Christina Hansson has worked with sales and marketing for the past 20 years of her work life. Christina moved from England to Dubai in 2016 with her husband and two teenage daughters, where they very much enjoy living. In 2018 she founded the company HYGGE MANSION with her partner, Kia Reimer. The overall purpose is to spread the ‘hygge’ in the UAE, where she can combine her sales and marketing experience with something she loves – interior design and interior accessories.

She loves yoga, running and loves to take long ‘walks & talks’ with family and friends in her spare time. Besides that she appreciates spending time with family and friends.

Christina is responsible for our sponsors and she loves being able to further develop Scandinavian Business Women in an even more positive direction, that will inspire our members to continuously being a member of our more and more significant network organisation.

Julie Stiedl brings her many years of experience, within Finance and administration, into the board. She strives to create and enhance systems within finance and administration, and wants to continue the good work, which this organisation have been working on for a decade.

Julie enjoys an active lifestyle with long walks, running, biking and playing badminton.

She loves travelling and good times with her family and friends. Julie is a housewife, mother of 3, married with a Dane and she has been in Dubai since 2013.

Trude Bang Groenbech is an educated nurse. Beside nursing she also has more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is an instructor, but has also worked with organising fitness classes as well as an educator for upcoming instructors.

She loves to exercise herself, and uses her spare time on biking, running, power walking and yoga.
Trude is currently working as an group fitness instructor at a dance studio, but before that, she was an Sports- and events coordinator for nearly 2 years in The Sustainable City. Trude is looking forward to use her experience organising events in her work in SBW.
Trude has lived in Dubai since 2015 with her husband and two daughters.

Trude’s responsibilities in SBW is Social Media and Memberships.
